WHO WE ARE

ENIT - Italian National Tourist Board has been promoting tourism in Italy across the world since 1919.

The corporate strategy is developed centrally in Italy and applied to different markets through a network of foreign offices that operates – according to needs – in collaboration with embassies and consular offices, Italian culture institutes abroad, ICE, Chambers of Commerce, Trade Associations and regions.

The vision for Italy’s tourism development for the coming years focuses on value growth, capable of generating economic, social and cultural sustainability: the value of the tourism offering, the value of local tourism companies, and its relevance on the market.

The marketing strategies are based on the knowledge of trends, tourists and products, produced by ENIT's Research Department / National Tourism Observatory, and are developed for each market through a precise segmentation of demand.

Operational marketing acts in favour of commercialisation to consolidate existing tourism products, introducing new products to traditional markets and penetrating the markets with the greatest potential for growth.

The digital strategy is transversal through all of ENIT's actions.
